1959 Paul Hornung Green Bay Packers Check Signed by Hornung & Lombardi

Pricing & History
1959 Paul Hornung Green Bay Packers Check Signed by Hornung & Lombardi. Before Vince Lombardi arrived in Green Bay, Paul Hornung's vast talents were wasting away. The Golden Boy's big push coincided with the hiring of Vince Lombardi in 1959. Lombardi admired Hornung's ability on the field and could only grind his teeth upon hearing about his exploits away from the gridiron. But one thing was certain, the halfback had a nose for the end zone and held the record for most points scored in a season for forty-six years. This Packers' check is signed by Lombardi and his prized pupil for the sum of fifty dollars. Lombardi's bold signature is joined by team president Dominic Olejniczak on front. Hornung's 8/10 signature resides on back. Three folds are present, one which touches the Hall of Fame coach's signature. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.HID03201242017 Grade: 0, Service No.: 0
