This is a vintage 1959 Renaissance Chessmen set No. 832 by E. S. Lowe. The description for this item is as follows:The set is in excellent used condition; the box has wear and taped corners. The game pieces are in perfect condition look like hardly used, see the board condition pic # 8 No original receipt. The pawns are 2.5" tall, the other pieces range from 3" to 4" tall. All pieces have felt bottoms. All of the pieces are very detailed. . The board was stored with a piece of wax paper between the two sides to limit wear; it might have originally come with the piece of paper.
