This is a fun Clipped coin- I believe it to be a 1955 Philadelphia cent, for several reasons- 1. The die cracks through Lincoln's head are commonly found on this year, more frequently than any other. 2. I have looked at several thousand BU 1955 cents in search of the elusive 1955 DDO #2, the weakness of strike and late state of the die are both representative of a 1955P cent. 3. Finally, the tone of the coin is a sheen often seen for the year. Regardless of what year this coin was minted in, it is a fun and demonstrative example of the error type!
