This is an actual souvenir race progam from the 24 Hours of Le Mans automobile race held June 26, 1960 . It is printed entirely in French - obviously meant for the home town crowd? It is printed in full color, on both sides of a single sheet of glossy lightweight paper that is 21 inches long, x 8-1/4 inches tall. This is folded into 8 panels that are 5-1/4 x 8-1/4. Please SCROLL DOWN FOR FIVE PICTURES BELOW !!! The cover is terrific - a color photo of the start of the race, as old Jaguars, Ferraris and Porsches start their engines! It says 24 Heures du Mans Circuit Permanent de la Sarthe 25 et 26 Juin 1960 Automobile Club de L'Ouest . For its age -- over 50 years old -- this is in amazingly good condition and would be a terrific addition to any collection of vintage auto racing programs or or antique car ephemera. Inside is a colorful drawing depicting the race course and actual village, along with information on lodging, restaurants and other tourist information. I wish I was better at translating - apparently listed are places from which to watch the race and what it will cost. On the outside back cover is a local map showing how to get to Le Mans. CONDITION: Only the very slightest "desk drawer grunge." The paper has slighty but gracefully age darkened, and there are light surface marks that are best seen tilting it in the read more
