Vintage Barbie MIX 'N MATCH GIFT SET #857 1960s - without doll - FINE to EXCELLENTThis set is part of my personal collection from the early 1960s. It is a special edition gift set sold exclusively by Montgomery Ward or Spiegels.According to , the set originally had a #3 or #4 ponytail Barbie. The site says "This wonderful 1960's gift set has everything Barbie needs to make 70 different combinations of outfits. The outfits and partial outfits included are #919 Fashion Undergarments (bra and panties only), #963 Sweater Girl (orange sweater top, matching cardigan sweater, and gray flannel skirt), #975 Winter Holiday (complete set except for shoes), #981 Busy Gal (the red and white blouse), and #967 Picnic Set (jeans and checked shirt)."There are 12 items of clothing: skirt, jeans, shorts, 2 blouse/bodysuits, 1 sleeveless tee, 1 twin set (sleeveless sweater and matching cardigan), 1 hoodie, a red summer jacket and 1 white winter jacket with belt. 1 white visor 1 pair of cork sandals 1 pair of red gloves bra and panties plaid bag with zipperThe only damage I see is: small hole orange top (see photo) and cork sandals that are missing some cork and gluing.
