Louisville Slugger had the courtesy to add Bill Skowron's nickname "Moose" to his engraved signature on this game-used bat dated between 1960 and '64. Separated striations like wrinkles, divots and ball stains make this "K 55" lumber a keeper. Skowron did not get the publicity of some Yankee teammates on those powerful clubs in the early '60s, but he averaged 27 home runs and 87 RBIs for three straight seasons and appeared in four straight World Series, including one with the Dodgers, who beat his former team.
