Made of heavy metal it says "TOY TRANSFORMER MARX OFF MED HIGH LOUIS MARX & CO PATENT NO 2019196 110-120 VOLTS A.C. 60 CYCLES 50 WATTS CAT. NO. 1239" on the front. It also has a paper label on the side. It measures 4 1/8" across by 2 3/4" tall. It comes on when plugged in and works great.
