This auction is for a vintage 1960 Barbie Ponytail Doll. She is a # 4. This doll has brunette hair with curly bangs, a knot at top of ponytail and elastic at bottom. She has blue eye shadow and red lips. Her nails on hand and feet are painted red polish as well. Her right foot on the underside is marked Japan. She is in very good condition. There are no neck splits or green ear - her earrings were removed. Lipstick and nail polish is very good with light wear. There is an elastic near top knot in her hair - this has broken and is disintergrating as is lower elastic . Curls at top and bottom are a little mussed. She could use a cleaning - there is a spot on her left cheek and another bluish ink type spot on her chest. Her joints are tight. There is a mold type line on the edge of her thighs on both legs. She was wearing a striped knit top and white shorts - neither of which has any tags. These are soiled and need to be washed. She does have a stand as well as open toed white heels - one marked Japan. She is just as I found her in the bottom of a box at an estate sale a few days ago. Please email any questions and check out pictures in listing. Any white spots are camera glare.
