1960's Cassius Clay (Muhammad Ali) Training Worn & Signed Gloves. Early career training gloves were originally released to the collecting public in the historic 1990 sale of the collection of Drew "Bundini Brown, the cornerman, assistant trainer and closest confidant of the former Heavyweight Champ. The lightly padded black leather relics are tagged for the Philadelphia-based "Passon's" sporting goods store, and signed "Cassius Clay" in black marker at each wrist strap. Each autograph is accompanied by its own full PSA/DNA letter of authenticity, though it would be a shame to break up the matched pair. The gloves exhibit fine sweaty wear from the early days of Ali's ascension to pugilistic immortality. Genuine Ali fight and training used gear, and particularly those pieces dating to the early years of his storied career, remain among the most prized artifacts in the boxing collectibles hobby. The ironclad Bundini Brown provenance only enhances the enormous appeal. Full PSA/DNA LOA's (2) for each autograph. Grade: 0, Service: Authenticated, Service No.: 2214392
