1960s SEARS SPACELINER CHROME SPINGER FORK BICYCLE MURRAY JET TWIN TANK SEARS 60DescriptionHere is an original 1960s VINTAGE (I did not see a serial number) ladies SEARS SPACELINER beach cruiser bicycle with 26" wheels. I believe this was made by Murray and is one of the COOLEST ladies bikes made in the 1960s! It looks like something off the Jetsons show! It is in the original and very appealing CHROME twin bar frame! If you like UNIQUE original bikes, this may be a great bike for you. With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike!*This bike has a cool original design ladies twin bar frame in chrome, rare front SPRINGER fork, original chainguard, crash rail cruiser style seat, wide sweeping cruiser handlebars, cool hand grips, full fenders, and more! THIS is the top of the line ladies bike for the era! This one would have came from the factory with a frame mounted tank. (not hard to find for a ladies version)*Add up the value of the springer forks, chainguard, raised center rims, crashrail seat, even the chrome frame! There is a ton of value here in individual parts! A fork alone sold recently on ebay for $170.50 (would be a shame to use this for parts but the choice is yours)*The tires are 26x1.75". They are vintage WIDE WHITEWALL tires and do hold air. (rear is a Carlisle) The bike has chrome raised center rims front and rear with a Bendix hub.*The bike is an original SINGLE SPEED with coaster brakes. (pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike)*DIMENSIONS: The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28 1/2". The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18 1/2". The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 22". The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust.*NOTED FLAWS It is not 100% flawless but is not bad for its age. The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. (not flawless but not bad for its age) Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) OVERALL a very unique bicycle that you seldom see in any conditon. If you Please take a look at all pics for exact condition and email with any questions before you bid.*This bike is beyond cool and these RARELY come along! Peoples jaws will drop when you ride by! Would make a wonderful display or backdrop for photos. Under the closed lisings, a tank alone went for 192.50! You get the WHOLE bike for much less than that!*This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach. Also would be a nice item to display in a shop, restaurant, rec room, sports bar, etc. Stand out from the crowd and be the envy of people who see you riding by. People will enjoy seeing you on your vintage bike! A great classic bike at a great price*Why not ride a bike? You will live longer, feel better, and save $$$ vs of the insanely high cost of gasoline.
