This is a 1961 Gillette Adjustable Razor in excellent condition in it's original box with blades. The razor has a 3 inch long fat handle with the 1-9 adjusting ring under the head. The adjusting feature allows for great shaves under a variety of beard conditions. Twist the knob on the bottom of the handle to open the head to insert or remove blades. The inside of the head is marked Pat. Nos. On Pkg. The underside of the head is marked Made In U.S.A. above the Gillette trademark. The date code G 2, indicating the the razor was made between April-June of 1961, is below the Gillette trademark. The last marking is Reg. U.S. Pat. Off.. The razor is in clean, good working condition. The cardboard Gillette Blue Blades box contains 3 of the original amount of 5 unused Gillette blades in their paper wrappers. The lid of hte razor case is clear plastic with a magnifying section that accents the adjusting ring of the razor. The box doesn't click shut because t is a piece broken off the front of the black plastic base. Email me if you have questions or would like more pictures.
