1961 Original Travel Poster Promoting Travel to Malaysia - Visit MalayaVisit MalayaThis delightful travel poster from circa 1961 promotes a visit to Malaya. The poster features a large image of a Malaysian woman dressed in traditional garb, with five images of Malaysian scenes and attractions. The top features a graphic mapping the region. The most interesting feature is the map of the Malay Peninsula, which apparently was added after the poster was printed. Done in the Pouchoir style, the map notes important towns, travel routes and illustrations. Singapore Island and city is also identified. Printed by The Straits Times Press (M) Ltd.
