This auction is for an original postwar Lionel 6822 Searchlight Car in Very Good (+) (C6-C7) condition with original box. Manufactured in 1961-69, this is 6511-2 dark red frame version with black superstructure and gray searchlight cap. Nothing cracked, broken or missing on this piece; slight oxidation on the wheel axles; modest signs of play wear, could use a light cleaning. The box grades Fair (C4) with some flaps present and attached; both printed end flaps are attached; box shows obvious signs of handling wear.
