This auction listing is for: *Item: 1962 PAINTED HAIR KEN #750 (Variation Box) *Condition: NEVER REMOVED FROM BOX -- Mint In Box. The doll's box appears VERY GOOD with NO SPLIT CORNERS on the box or box lid! The box end is correctly marked "BLONDE." Upon very close examination, there is a very faint discoloration/water stain on the upper right corner of the lid (this flaw is barely noticeable unless you look closely--see photo). The interior of Ken's box lid and his box itself is CLEAN with no discoloration or staining! Ken is still NEW in his box with his excellent intact "GENUINE Ken BY MATTEL"/Made in Japan" wrist tag on his wrist! His neck box liner is present but is stained/discolored (mostly hidden by the doll). Ken's pink "Barbie and Ken TM" booklet and cork sandals are visible in the Mattel bag behind Ken, and Ken's black pedastal stand is in place behind the doll! Ken's red swim trunks and red & white striped jacket look crisp! This is a FANTASTIC example of the Painted Hair Ken in the RAREST variation Ken box (note the blue-green oval featuring the illustration of Ken's face--Mattel FORGOT to include the Ken signature below the face illustration!!!)!
