For sale is a 1962 Fender Jazzmaster in the original case. The case has been painted black over the original brown. All the electronics are fine on this piece and sounds exceptionally well for it's age. There is one ding in the top corner of the body, but, as the pictures shows, there is some paint peeling and surface cracks on the body. There are no cracks in the body itself. The lines on the bottom of the body are from the paint peeling. The paint appears to be original, but not sure. The body is solid. I considered refinishing, but I like the original look and will leave that up to the buyer. Headstock decal in excellent condition. The case is in good shape. It is missing one latch but, the other latches and the handle are quite sturdy. The lining is peeled back a little on one side of the case, but all intact. I do have an online appraisel for this guitar and it will go to the buyer. Reserve price is much lower than the top appraisel. I will ship in the U.S. only. Thanks for looking.
