PLANET EURODISCO *** Both the front and back images of this rare UK promo 7" vinyl single showing A & B side labels along with the glossy picture print sleeve can be seen above and further down below. The item available here is a MINT / UNPLAYED CONDITION and original UK 7" FACTORY SAMPLE VINYL SINGLE of the 1962 Eurovision song from Monaco with FRANCOIS DEGUELT and "DIS RIEN" (very rare to find a copy like this one still unplayed and looking like brand new!) The other side features another track by Francois Deguelt, "CAPUCCINA". This UK 7" single was issued by COLUMBIA records (45-DB 4815) and was never originally issued in the UK (or anywhere else for that matter) with a picture sleeve but for my own collection I produced a top quality glossy 'original colour scheme' picture card sleeve with the correct UK record label logo and catalogue number also added! This is a unique professional looking one-off picture sleeve issued especially for this rare copy of the UK pressing 7" single I have on auction. Remember, it was never issued with a picture sleeve in the UK back in 1962 so this picture sleeve is the first edition and you're not going to find another one like this anywhere else! This is a wonderful opportunity to add a collectable UK pressing 7" Eurovision single with a top quality unique picture sleeve to your record collection! The vinyl is clean and shiny and looks brand new as if it has never been played once! One of the labels has an official record company sticker "FACTORY SAMPLE NOT FOR SALE" which implies this copy was intended for promotional use only. The exact items I have on auction can be seen on the camera photos both above and below! Back in the eighties and nineties I was quite well known among many Eurovision collectors around the world as I always stocked a large selection of Eurovision records and CD's and during the nineties even arranged and financed the official release to press some of the more rare entries for wider availability to collectors. I provided a Discography and photos of all Eurovision releases in the UK for RECORD COLLECTOR magazine and provided recordings and worked to get clearance for tracks on an official UK Eurovision CD release issued by VIRGIN. Due to moving house my Eurovision vinyl has been in safe storage for almost a decade. I have recently acquired back the very last copies of my Eurovision vinyl stocks. In many cases I am down to my very last copy of each entry, especially those in mint condition and I now plan to sell everything over the upcoming months, so keep checking back each week for new additions to my listings.
