The first member of the NASA Astronaut Corps to fly in space twice, Virgil "Gus" Grissom, signed this check to the Central Freight Line corporation in 1962 through the National Bank of Fort Sam Houston. The check is EX-MT while the signature is in 8/10 black ink. Grissom was one of NASA's original Mercury astronauts and clearly exhibited the "Right Stuff."
