Your bidding on one 1960's Tin Friction Toy Police Patrol Car that was made by Kyowa Gangu Seisakusho Co. in Japan. ... The mark (see the last photo) is listed in; 'The Big Book of Tin Toy Cars' - Please read the last sentence of the listing. This great looking Toy **1963 CHEVROLET 4-DOOR HARDTOP Police Highway Patrol car is about 11" long by about 3-1/2" wide. It is marked with the "Kyowa Logo" & "Made in Japan" inside the back window (see the last photo). There is no box with this toy. This nice looking and very scarce Japanese manufacture name, tin toy is friction powered. The friction part runs very strong and smoothly. The paint all looks clean and in very good condition with some very light scrapes & nicks to the paint and just a very little rust marks here & there but overall it's really in very good condition. The 4 rubber tires and black bottom metal all look very good with just very light age wear present. The toy has all four original matching hubcaps which are solid but all show some significant tarnish. **I can't actually find this exact car in any of my reference books. Having said that, it looks very similiar to a 1963 Chevrolet Impala 4-door hardtop that is shown in the "Big Book of Tin Toy Cars, Volume 2" on page 94 at the lower right corner of the page, this observation is why I called it the year & brand that read more
