1963 "WALTER LANTZ FLANNEL BOARD PLAY" PUBLISHED BY SAALFIELD/ARTCRAFT SET #6076:100I am still working on liquidating my late sisters collections and many of you who have been following my listings and I wish to THANK YOU, ALL! Since I am not a collector I do have to apologize for my lack of knowledge on this subject. If I have grossly misstated anything in the description it is fine if you want to correct me. I am now working on a 'new' bundle of paper dolls and other items that I just took into my possession, have fun exploring them right along with me!!This is quite the unique set that features characters created by Walter Lantz. The title of the set is "WALTER LANTZ FLANNEL BOARD PLAY WITH WOODY WOODPECKER AND HIS FRIENDS". The set features a background scene for the Flannel Board. Most of the individual characters included have a flannel backing to make them adhere to the background board. The characters can be moved around where ever the owner wants to move them to. Some of the characters no longer have their backing including Woody himself and his Girlfriend, Winnie. Other Lantz characters included are: ANDY & MIRANDA PANDA; CHILLY WILLY; GABBY GATOR; SPACE MOUSE; WALLY WALRUS; OSWALD THE LUCKY RABBIT; FATSO THE BEAR; AND SPLINTER AND KNOTWOOD.
