This is a 1963 vintage US Navy issue 7823B G-1 flight jacket, made by the Irvin Foster company. B series jackets are especially coveted because of their quality and rareness. This jacket looks new, with no sign of wear. Original cuffs are perfect with no holes or repairs. Still very tight. Original single ply, bi-directional waistband is likewise in perfect condition. Conmar paper clip style zipper is original and in good working order. Original leather pull still attatched. Mouton collar is thick, plush and in absolute new issue condition. No evidence of wear whatever. Inside pocket made of olive twill. All buttons present. Goatskin leather is very nice, as is the case with all Bs. Soft and supple, with lots of grain. No patches or name tag ever sewn on jacket. However the windflap was removed by the original owner, as he liked his jackets better without them. Though I would never cut one off myself, it does look and fit quite nicely without the flap. Overseas shipping $36-48, depending on speed of delivery. Accept MOs, Cashier Checks and Paypal.
