Triumph Spitfire 4 (Mk1) - 1964 - Rare Car I bought this car in the early 1990's and the car was fully restored in the late 1990's. It has has been lightly used since that time. The engine was converted to run on unleaded about 10 years ago. It starts first time, runs smoothly and sounds tight. The body work is in need of a little attention in a few places. As shown in the pictures, the boot lid has some corrosion and there is a chip in the middle of the bonnet (measures around 10mm in diameter). The chassis and underbody is sound. There is a GRP hard top, the paint is crazed, as is always the case with GRP. The soft top has no rips, but the corner windows are slightly discoloured. There is a new tonno cover included, with fitting kit (as shown in photo). I have just never got round to fitting it. There is also a new distributor and kit to convert to electronic ignition, again that I have not got round to fitting. This also comes with the car, although I appreciate that such conversions are not to everyones taste. This is a rare car. The "How Many Left" website states that there are less than 20. https://www./?utf8=✓&q=triumph+spitfire This car has no MOT . Tax exempt historic vehicle.
