Vintage 1964 Vermont Maid fashion doll in her original outfit. This was a promotional mail-in premium item available from Vermont Maid maple syrup, based on the advertising character that appeared on the syrup bottles. This jointed vinyl doll is 15" tall with blue sleep eyes & rooted auburn red hair styled in the original braids tied with the original ribbons and wears her green jumper with white panty-blouse and white plastic high heel shoes. Doll & outfit are in excellent condition, the clothes are clean & crisp with metal snaps intact, the elastic is relaxed at the sleeves, the hair has some flyaways, there is a pinpoint spot on the left leg and one shoe is split at the strap. Doll is marked "U 29" on back of head, made by the Uneeda Doll Company.From a non-smoking, pet-free home. Please check my other auctions for more items.
