Up for auction is a vintage 3 hardcover book set of Lord of The Rings in slipcase. This is the 2nd edition and revised. 5th & 6th printing. Dated 1965. Published by Houghton Mifflin Co. Then covers are not price clipped. The inside pages are very clean. The bindings are tight. Looks like they were read maybe once. Each book has a fold out map at the back. The dust jackets are covered in mylar. It has caused some of the front covers on book 1 and 2 to have some waviness to the jackets. I don't know if that will flatten out if the mylar was removed. The 1st blank page on each has some black ink on the page edges. Not sure why but minor. The rest of the pages are fine. Nice set in nice slipcase. SEE PHOTOS. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS. NO RESERVE!
