1965 Gibson LG-1 with LR Baggs Pickup 1965 Gibson LG-1(serial number 281101) in very nice condition. 14 1/8” wide, mahogany back and sides (nice grain on the back), straight-across ladder-braced top, 24 ¾’ scale, 19 frets, rosewood fingerboard, dot inlay. Great action-3/32 inch at the 12 th fret. The tone-robbing factory plastic bridge has been replaced with a wooden bridge, and a very nice job. There is a thin wood separation between four of the bridge pins. Has an LR Baggs pickup with volume control with the strap button plug-very responsive and balanced pickup. Straight neck with very little fretwear. Don’t know if the frets have been replaced, but they look great and the guitar plays super nice. There are a few fretboard grooves in the first three frets, a top mark next to the pickguard, a couple of marks on the back, and a few light marks on the back of the neck (see closeup photos). Excellent neck joint. The Kluson keys have probably been replaced, as they look to be pretty clean for the year; if they were replaced, they are exact replacements for the originals (no extra screwholes). Includes what is probably the original softshell case with bright red lining. The original plastic bridge is in the case. The items we sell are used. Therefore, they may exhibit at least the minimal amount of wear one would expect on a used musical read more
