1865 Indian MS-62 RB Up for auction an ANACS certified MS-62 RB 1865 Indian cent. This is a great coin, and the first date in the Indian cent series to have its full mintage be bronze. This is a great date to add to your standard small cent collection, or a type set. This coin has great strike and has much of the original red poking through. The 62 grade comes from contact friction on the reverse of the coin. The obverse is very sharp for the grade and shows details of a much higher grade coin. If you take a look at the picture you will see that this coin is of the 'Fancy 5' variety. The 5 in the date was changed halfway through the mintage. The fancy 5 is slightly rarer than the normal 5, but until the market catches up you can still pick this coin up for a great price. Thanks so much for looking. Good luck and !
