Vintage US Military MP Helmet from Vietnam War / Conflict Helmet is a M1 Only made this type of helmet for one year. 1966 - 1967 Steel helmet in good condition . Has the inside straps and the leather head strap Numbers on the side of the helmet says "276" This helmet has the original Solders "Name , SS# and CO " still inside the helmet where he once Wrote it . says: "Richard Stratford " SS# (not reviling the number online but buy can see it) "257th MP CO" (has seen in pictures) So easy to track down the history of this helmet . Extremely Rare Collector item you will not fine a better helmet in this shape that your can bid on ..Has Scratches , Chips and shows some signs of wear as seen in picturesleft inside strap as a tear but not a the way thoughMissing the chin strap i believe. also missing the side company decal and part of the "M" in the frontThe straps on the inside have the military writing on them looks like it say: "M-1 INFANTRY TYPE-1" and then serial numbers The leather head strap says : "Head Band Liner" and then serial numbers .Please Feel free to ASK Questions and i will answer them to the best that i can.
