Vintage Batman Figural Nite Light. This 11" tall blow molded plastic lamp was manufactured by the Gilbert in 1966. This is the same folks that made the highly sought after Batman watch as well as a whole host of James Bond toys. The light is in Near Mint condition. Rare to find this complete with the original blue satin cape with the paint in minty condition. No dents or cracks, though the cape could use a tumble in the dryer or some ironing on low to knock out a couple of wrinkles. I just stored it as I found it so many years ago.I know that this was originally Underwriter Labortories (UL) Listed, but if you intend to run the light for any period of time, I'd strongly recommend you swap out the bulb to a safer,cooler LED nite-light style bulb or just use it un-powered for display purposes. Note that the power cord appears to be in good shape, but has some light yellowing due to age.
