For sale is a 1966 Framus 5/51 Studio archtop electric guitar. This guitar features a maple top, maple back and sides, laminated neck, rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, 14th fret neck joint, single-coil neck pickup, ebony bridge, trapeze tailpiece, and see-thru red sunburst finish. The width of the body is 13", which is small for an archtop, and serves to help make this a unique piece. Cosmetically this guitar is in good shape, with some light checking and minor dings that we have tried to document in the pictures below. There is a gouge at the neck joint also pictured below, but this does nothing to affect the functionality of the guitar. Functionally, there is some light wear in the frets, but the guitar still plays and sounds good, acoustically or plugged-in. Comes with gig bag pictured below.*NJ residents are responsible for 7% sales tax. This auction is open to all bidders, however we reserve the right to cancel bids if the bidder's record/feedback is questionable. All bidders outside of the lower 48 states will be responsible for additional shipping charges.
