28-29 April 1967. Drake Stadium, Des Moines. 58th Annual Drake Relays. Large size program 116 pages. Good condition, slight overfold on spine, scored, creases, surface wear, decent used shape overall. WONDERFUL HISTORIC PHOTOS THROUGHOUT. Great program of one of America's great meets. In this 58th renewal, Jim Ryun anchored his Kansas Jayhawks to Drake titles in the four mile relay and the distance medley. Van Nelson (Saint Cloud St) was a 3 miles, 6 miles double winner. Charlie Greene won the 100 meters in 10.1 and anchored his Nebraska Cornhuskers to the university sprint relay title, while champion sprinter Jim Hines anchored Texas Southern to the college sprint relay title. Randy Matson (Texas A&M) was a double winner, the shot put and discus throw. Great program of one of America's great meets.
