AUCTIONDESCRIPTION (MJM1) Winning bidder to receive a 1967 Minnesota Twins Team Autographed (autograph / auto / signed) Baseball. This Baseball contains 26 ‘recognizable’ Autographs from the 1967 Minnesota Twins Baseball Team. The 1967 Twins had a very exciting and successful Major League seasons finishing tied for second place with the Detroit Tigers and one game behind the first place Boston Red Sox. This Baseball includes Autographs of MLB’s National Hall of Fame (HOF) Harmon Killebrew and Rod Carew. The Minnesota Twins Team Hall of Fame (HOF) includes both Killebrew and Carew as well as Tony Oliva, Cal Griffith Jim Kaat, Bob Allison, Earl Battey and Zoilo Versalles. 1967 was the “Rookie” season for Rod Carew as well as the ‘final’ season for veterans Zoilo Versalles and Earl Battey in a Twins uniform. Several players from this 1967 Team are deceased (11) and are noted below in player auto listings. Also, this Baseball has a ‘RARE / TOUGH’ Autograph of Outfielder Jimmie Hall and Cesar Tovar as well. Hall was actually traded by the Twins in December of 1966 to the California Angels after playing for the Twins from 1963 thru 1966. It is only a guess on my part but the Autograph collector must have gotten the Hall auto when the Angels visited the Twins home stadium or at some private function in this timeframe. Finally, the Baseball read more
