Original1967 Vintage Mrs. Beasley by Mattelitem 16-501Her collar and apron are original with her reproduction black plastic GlassesAs you can see in the pictures her collar white dots didn't come as white as I would have like.Looks like her hair has been permed before. Yes some people really do perm the hair. Why I have no idea.Please see picture of pull string. This is what it is supposed to look like. Be careful as most people restoring these toys don't do it this way. They have the pull ring at the body. It should hang down. First reason the string could come loose and fly inside. If you look at the original dolls with there pull string you can see they look like mine. I hope they read this and up there game. A lot of time they cut the string off at the metal holder and just unwind the string a few times to get the string long enough to tie., If your doll slows down at the end it because the string was not long enough to make it tight so it will talk at correct speed.Mrs Beasley's hair info. When you are buying a Mrs Beasley there were 2 different dolls. The first one they manufactured had a seem down the front of the chest. She came with straight hair not curly. The second retooled Mrs Beasley came with straight and curly hair. I have all of the original Mattel Mrs Beasley's list so you can see the difference and this one came
