1968 UPI Photo Blind Montagnard Children Khe Sahn Viet Nam Item Description - This is a 7 x 9 inch black & white photo from the UPI Archives. The photo has the usual back stamps, 'For Personal Use Only Not For Publication' and 'Please Credit UPI'. The attached typewritten paper reads, " New York Bureau--Blind Montagnard Children Taken To Safety---Khe Sanh, S. Vietnam: A South Vietnamese paratrooper leads two blind Montagnard children to an evacuation helicopter just south of April 9th. The children were found in the ruins of a house during "Operation Pegasus" near Montagnards are the mountain tribesmen of Vietnam. Credit (UPI Photo by Nik Wheeler) 4/17/68."
