Description:An item rarely found on the market, this bronze medal is the highest award that can be achieved by a high school student. The front of the medal offers a bust with the words "Lyndon Baines Johnson President of the United States of America" while the reverse offers a figure and below it reads "William John Sakoda Named Presidential Scholar 1968". The edge of the medallion reads "Jacques Lipchitz, S.C. Medallic Art Co. N.Y. Bronze". It sits within protective lined leather case within outer box and includes a thick parchment with short bio on the sculptor and has the Presidential Seal pressed into the front.
