This a Dyno-Racer that has been correctly converted into a promo using NO reproduction parts. In 1969 AMT made the Corvette roadster only in red and the coupe only in yellow. They made the Dyno-Racer coupe in red, it had the same body, glass and interior as a promo, but they used a special racing chassis with racing wheels and tires and licence tags that read "dyno". All the needed parts from a donor 1969 yellow coupe promo including the front bumper, rear tag, wheels, tires and chassis were installed on this perfect (non raced) red Dyno body. Chassis is painted semi-gloss black. Condition is MINT: molded in red body is flawless, chrome is original, still shines bright wth minor rub thru. The 1968 Corvette Promos were made by MPC....the 69 Corvette promos were made by AMT. So the chassis and wheels and tires used on this conversion would be from a donor 1968 Corvette MPC promo, not a 69. Licence tags are correct 1969.
