Most of these were signed in the late 1960s and early 1970s while the player was still active. Many of these guys are deceased or very difficult signers today. Included are 180 of the possible 186 players who played (Missing only Herman Hill, Miguel Fuentes, Thurman Munson, John Jeter, Bob Watkins and Carl Morton). Veteran collectors will surely realize that assembling a complete debut year set can be a very challenging ordeal.
