1969 Hank Bauer Game Worn Oakland Athletics Jersey. The twelve-year veteran of the Yankee pinstripes wore this Oakland Athletics flannel vest during his final season at the helm of a Big League ballclub before the shirt was sent down to the minors for reincarnation. A skillful restorer has since removed the minor league logo patch over the heart and replaced it with the proper "A" to perfectly match its original look. Number "42" on front and back are original and untouched. Tagging in tail is likewise one hundred percent original, with "McAuliffe Uniform Corp" label above "69" year and "48" size designators. Strong wear can be attributed in part to minor league service, but the jersey remains free of anything that could be termed "damage," and presents beautifully. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Grade: 0, Service: Authenticated, Service No.: 2214365
