1969 SCHWINN PEA PICKER BICYCLE - UNRESTORED - - - - NEEDS RESTORATION - - - SERIAL NUMBER IS "AE26127" This bicycle is complete, however it sports a "non-pea picker" sting ray seat in white vinyl... It has a raleigh 20" x 2.125 rear tire and a schwinn 16" x 1 3/4 "tractor tire" on the front rim... Appears to have the original "Weinmann" brake handles... Rear Brake arms on frame say "TypeB53.6"... Pedals say "D.B. Patent" on inside rubber... They also say "Made in Germany" on the metal frames... Schwinn "Mag" Sprocket... The original paint is faded, scratched, and should be re-painted... This bike has an old "Fargo, N.D." license sticker on the frame... The tires are old & cracked, the "Pea Picker" logo is BARELY visible w the original decal has been removed or worn off with age & use... This bicycle is in average used, original condition - the frame appears straight and rust free with no signs of major accidents or welding... This bicycle has been ridden alot, it has scratches, a few very minor dings in the original, hazy - NOT shiny or new chrome fenders, and the worst part is the front sprocket has rubbed into the lower rear frame behind the crank housing --- see photos closely...
