1969 Topps Basketball Complete Set (99) - Almost Every Card Autographed! Every trading card production is judged on content and historical significance. The 1969 Topps Basketball edition ranks at the top for both aspects. The 99-card series is the cornerstone of any advanced basketball collection. The roster features twenty-five Hall of Famers including Jerry West, Oscar Robertson and Wilt Chamberlain, plus the rookie cards of Lew Alcindor (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar), John Havlicek, Bill Bradley, Wes Unseld and others. When issued, this was the first comprehensive basketball edition of any brand in almost a decade. But this is not any ordinary assembly. Except for two cards - #38 Rodgers and #99 Checklist - each card is signed by the featured player! Cards mostly VG to EX. Every card is signed on the front. With a small number of exceptions, signatures are in blue or black marker or pen. A dozen show some added salutation or jersey number, just two are inscribed to someone. Wilt Chamberlain has signed a piece of paper that is glued to the card. Twenty-one cards have been encapsulated by a third party service.
