What You Are Bidding On: !!!VERY VERY RARE DIRK WEST CARTOON ARTWORK!!! 1970 Oklahoma Sooners Cartoon Artwork Size - 15" X 20" Dirk West was an editorial cartoonist and journalist from Lubbock, Texas. Mr. West died of a heart attack on July 26, 1996. The vast majority of his cartoon type of artwork (like the one I am selling) was Texas Tech and Southwest Conference related. I can promise you that these type of prints that were done for each of the Big 8 mascots DO NOT show up on Ebay very often. In fact, it is rare when they do end up listed for sale. So don't let this one get away because chances are you might not ever see another one any time soon! This print is professionally mounted on sturdy 1/8" type poster board. I would give the condition of this print and mounting probably about a 9.5 out of 10. It has aged very nicely over the past 40 years.
