This is being re-listed due to a non paying bidder. Please do not bid if you do not intend to buy. Up for bids is a very nice and original 1970 Diamond Jubilee Schwinn Cotton Picker Sting Ray Krate bike. Everything is original to my knowledge on this bike except for the brand new "Pete" seat and the fenders. When I got the bike it had no seat and no fenders. I bought the seat and fenders with hopes to restore the bike, but I have decided to buy a Honda CT70 instead and will use this money to fund another project. The bike has been repainted (not by me), and it is a fair to good job for a rider bike. If someone wanted to show this bike you will want it repainted. It has the original S2 stamped 5 speed rim on the rear with the original slik tire from 1970. T are a few spokes missing and the tire wobbles a little, but get them replaced and true the wheel and it will be great. The front has the original S-7 stamped rim with the atom brake and original superior tire. I was missing the little "u" shaped piece to mount the front fender and that is why it is sitting like it is, but I bought the part on ebay NOS and it looks great. Everything works on the bike it shifts through all 5 speeds and is rideable. The tires do have cracking, but are usable. The shifter decals are original and look nice.
