1970 Texas vs. UCLA Program Memorial Stadium, October 3 Final score - Texas 20 - UCLA 17 60 pages Very good condition. Creases on the top and bottom right corners of the front cover and light wear on the right edge. Tight binding, and the program is clean and intact. 1970 Texas program - This is a great Longhorns program from the 1970 season when they went undefeated in the regular season but lost to Notre Dame in the Cotton Bowl. It's from their game against the UCLA Bruins at Austin, and the Horns escaped with a 20-17 win in a squeaker. The Longhorns were ranked #1 in the UPI poll at the end of the season. It has individual photos of the players on both squads, and there's a lengthy in-depth biography of Texas head coach Darrell Royal, with some great archival photos of the legendary coach. The Bruins lineup featured - Dennis Dummit, Arthur Sims, Reggie Echols, Gary Campbell, Terry Vernoy and Rob Christiansen. The Texas notables included - Eddie Phillips, Jim Bertelsen, Billy Dale, Steve Worster, Deryl Comer and Charles Speyrer.
