If you make an offer please wait until you recieve an invoice with the shipping charge on it. is a very rare early 70's Carvin DT650 double neck guitar. The body is constructed out of the highly desired birdseye maple. It looks like it has been in it's case it's whole life but does show signs of use. The retail on this guitar in the 70's was $1140 so it was quite expensive even then. The only thing I could say is wrong with this guitar is the original owner wanted to be able to switch neck positions and made the 6 string body pocket larger to accomodate the larger 12 string neck (see pictures). This is not a big deal at all as the neck is very tight and solid. The new owner could even glue in a birdseye maple shim and a light layer of clear and it would be very hard to notice. The action on this guitar is extremely low and plays like butter. Everything on this guitar is original and it has been very well cared for. All you can find on it are very minor imperfections due to age and use. Both necks are as straight as an arrow. It comes with leather strap, strap locks installed, finger picks, patch cord, guitar and case. The case is original and shows signs of age and use. are few other nice Carvins and specs: /playersgallery/dt6 read more
