Early 1970s Gottlieb Playmates Pinball Machine This auction is for the Gottlieb Playmates pinball machine seen in the photos. This machine is in working condition, but it needs restoration. Please view the photos and read the notes below for more details. I'm not an expert on pinball machines but I've tried to include all of the important information. If you want additional information or photos, just ask. Details: Manufacturer's certificate attached Model: Playmates Serial Number: 08170 Light Box D-8824 Cabinet D-10744 Pedestal D-8158 Condition: Powers on OK, modified to not need coins Most or all bumpers need to be replaced (replacement kit can be found online for $25 or less) Launcher works great! Flippers work but need to be adjusted to increase power Score reel, spin roto, and tilt mechanism all work Legs badly rusted Coin box face rusted but opens OK, key included! Many bulbs need to be replaced, see photos Back cover plate removed for photo, but included I don't know what year this model was manufactured. This particular machine was purchased used in 1975 and taking its style and components into consideration I'm guessing it's from the early 1970s. This item is pickup only. It's currently located in Hebron, CT. Exact details will be arranged after the auction close. With its legs removed this unit can fit in the back of a pickup truck or inside a minivan or large SUV. Loading it into a vehicle requires a minimum of two people, and I can help if necessary. For this auction I will accept PayPal, money orders, or cash on pickup.
