This is a 1970's Thorens Swiss Inlaid 5 Five Cylinder 20 Tune and 50 Comb Music Box With Manual & Keys and the original red box that has a tag at the end. It measures approximately 16-1/2" long, 5-3/4" wide and 4" high. The wood case may be mahogany or walnut, I am not sure, and I don't know the wood types of the inlay. The cylinders are covered with a glass lid that is lifted with a yellow ribbon.It has its original "Instruction Portfolio" with the "Owner's Registration Card" showing Reg. No. 74130. It has the stickers that list all the tunes. They have never been pasted to the inside top of the music box. Here is a list of what tunes are on each cylinder:Cylinder #1: Minuet by Beethoven, Minuet by Lully, Minuet by Mozart, Minuet by Boccherini Cylinder #2: Mozart's Drawing Room, Blue Danube, Schubert's Serenade, Tales of Vienna Woods Cylinder #3: Two Hearts in Waltz Time, Rio Rita, Marcheta, Student Prince Cylinder #4: More, Edelweiss, Lara's Theme, Impossible Dream Cylinder #5: Adeste Fidelis, O Thou Joyful Day, O Christmas Tree, Silent NightI tested all the cylinders, and they play well. They show some dark parts from being handled. None of the 50 combed teeth are broken. The winding key is in its slot inside. There is a separate key to lock the box. The four screws and protecting bars that were used for shipping are missing.
