1971 Alfa Romeo 1750 Veloce for sale. This is one of the first Kamm tail Alfa spiders imported in to the country. It is also one of the rarer 1750 models, although unfortunately one of the previous owners has replaced this engine with the more modern 2000 engine. The photos for the car show it as it was when I bought it plus some photos of the car as it is now - which is largely dismantled apart from the running gear, engine etc. The car is complete and the engine was running when I purchased it although it hasn't run in the last few years. It comes with Weber carb's. I also have rear wheelarch repair panels, a replacement hood which is in reasonable condition, plus a replacement second hand boot panel. The photos do not show it too well but being an old Alfa, this car has a lot of rust. Virtually all the areas that rust on a Spider have rusted on this spider. I could probably sell the car for more if I sold it in bits, but I feel that the car - if restored - would be too nice to scrap. However, restoring this car would be a very large undertaking for somebody so be under no illusions that this car suffers very badly from rust and would require considerable work.The car is sold with no reserve.
