You are bidding on a 1972 Specimen Uncirculated Edition sterling silver $25 coin from the Cayman Islands. The coin was struck at the Royal Canadian Mint to commemorate the 25th wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. It is 45 millimeters in diameter and weighs 800 grains, which works out to 1.525 troy ounces of silver. It also comes with the original newspaper ad for the coin which was clipped from the Omaha World-Herald. The ad is creased as seen in the photo. Shipping for this auction will be $5, which will also include full insurance and a tracking number. Payment by Paypal is due within 24 hours of the auction close.
