1972 MEGO REMOVABLE MASK ROBIN TYPE 1 BODY WITH SOLID REPRODUCTION BOXThis Auction Includes:· 1972 MEGO REMOVABLE MASK ROBIN TYPE 1 BODY WITH SOLID REPRODUCTION BOXDescription :· 1972 MEGO REMOVABLE MASK ROBIN TYPE 1 BODY WITH SOLID REPRODUCTION BOX is in good condition considering its age and rarity. It's definitely a survivor, but needs some work. The head looks good, minor paint rubs on hair and the tip of his nose is slightly damaged, but not that noticeable especially with the mask on. The back of his neck is printed N.P.P. Inc 1972 and the original type 1 body is tight and easily pose-able. The original costume looks good, but not in the best condition, it shows signs of age and wear, and one sleeve has separated from the red tunic. The original green shoes look good with no splits or holes, maybe can use a cleaning. The rare yellow cloth belt is original along with the green gloves; there is no DM printed on them and they have the look and feel of original MEGO. Please note; the Black Removable Mask, "R" sticker and Solid Display Box are high quality reproductions. Also, the only other issue I see is that there is some fraying along the edges of the yellow cape and some minor discoloring due to the age, which is common with out of the box MEGO capes unfortunately.
