DESCRIPTION Vintage 1972 Stromberg-Carlson USA, Aqua Blue S-C 500D Rotary Telephone. The phone number was edited out in the photographs only, in case it is still in service. T are very few scuffs or light scratches on this phone. Looks to me as if it was lightly used or well taken care of. The center clear plastic piece (phone # cover) has scratches, looks a little dull. Very little dirt in the crevices (t still is a little), I simply wiped it down with a damp cloth. Seems to work very well, sounds clear, good ringer. I think the cord is "hard wired" inside the phone, it does not detach so far as I know. Gray cord is approximately 7.5' long. Dated on the bottom Sept. 1972, Final Inspector 16. Has loud setting on bottom. Did you notice how clean the bottom was? Has all it's little rubber feet. My husband suggested I keep this phone, told me it would look great in the kitchen, I was all for it, I could have really $$ redecorated $$ around this phone, but this scared my poor husband to death, he asked me if I would mind listing it...... I do not know if they came from pet free, perfume free or smoke free homes. Our home is pet friendly.
