Up for auction is my 1973 Fiat 500L. Imported from Italy in December last year, I purchased it earlier this year and have registered it with the DVLA, so it is all sorted and ready to use. No worries about transporting it from Italy or the lengthy application to DVLA to register for the UK. Drives well and is great fun, turns heads on every trip! I have spent quite a bit getting it to its current standard: Complete new front bumper, nudge bar & chrome bolts New Weber 26 MIB carburettor (it wouldn't idle properly before) starts and runs perfectly now Just had some welding done to the floor, isolated small patches, cost £350 New carpets New centre console tray New rear light lenses New front badge New rear number plate light unit New hub caps & bolts New spark plugs, HT leads & distributor cap The paintwork is not perfect, but very presentable. I would say it has had a recent restoration/respray in the last twelve months or so.There are a few very minor rust spots on the bonnet and lower edge of the driver's door. I'm being honest as I wouldn't want to describe the car as perfect, it is 42 years old remember! Underneath is good and the floor fine now I have had the small repairs done.
