For sale is a 1975 Turks and Caicos Island 7-piece Proof Set struck by the Royal Canadian Mint. The 5, 10 and 20 crown are struck in silver and the 25, 50, and 100 crown are struck in gold. The 5 Crown coin is 24.24 grams of 0.500 silver, or 0.3892 oz ASW. The 10 Crown coin is 29.98 grams of 0.925 silver or 0.8916 oz ASW. The 20 Crown coin is 38.7 of 0.925 silver or 1.1509 oz ASW. The 25 Crown coin is 3.11 grams of 0.500 gold or 0.05 oz AGW. The 50 Crown coin is 6.22 grams of 0.500 gold or 0.1 oz AGW and the 100 Crown coin is 12.44 grams of 0.500 gold, or 0.2 oz AGW. This set comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and nice felt presentation case (not shown). The 7-piece set was packaged in a cardboard & plastic holder rather than a hard plastic case that the mint changed to with the 1976 proof set. There is damaged to this cardboard holder and the 1 and 5 crown coins have subsequent odd toning from exposure to the air/environment on both the Obverse and Reverse. The 20 crown coin has a little toning on the Obverse near the rim at the 5:30 and 8 o’clock position. Winner bidder pays $11.90 for insurance, postage, and handling. Thanks for looking!
